I was born in Houston, Texas and raised in a small, conservative Texas town outside of Austin. I have always had a great love and appreciation for politics and helping people around me. Even as a small child I enjoyed activities like cleaning up the neighborhood, helping out at town events, and making sure the community was a better place to live. Today, I dedicate most of my time Volunteering and running a blog. I love to help out with local and statewide political campaigns, going door-to-door and spreading the word about particular candidates I support.

Yet when they threaten Barack Obama, they get arrested, or the secret service shows up? Is this a double standard? How many people back during the Bush administration talk about beheading him, and just doing the most horrid things to him?  I saw it every single day.
