I was born in Houston, Texas and raised in a small, conservative Texas town outside of Austin. I have always had a great love and appreciation for politics and helping people around me. Even as a small child I enjoyed activities like cleaning up the neighborhood, helping out at town events, and making sure the community was a better place to live. Today, I dedicate most of my time Volunteering and running a blog. I love to help out with local and statewide political campaigns, going door-to-door and spreading the word about particular candidates I support.

Since you believe art is useless, then why don't you throw away all the things that you own that has someone who has a degree in art help design. i.e. cereal, clothes, wallpaper, Romney/Obama signs, ovens, refrigerator, shoes, car, keyboard on your computer. All the web browsers have had some one design the icons and buttons and etc.

Clearly you’re taking this out of context. I said that the taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for Art, Music, Gender studies etc…. degrees. The federal grant program should only pay for Doctors, Lawyers, scientist, and others that are useful in society. You know things that will save peoples lives.
